Graduated from USC, Ray Cui is a director, writer, and producer. Ray produced the short film, Spring Flower, which won the Gold Medal at the 45th Student Academy Awards and the DGA student film award. The film To Pimp A Butterfly, which was screened at the opening of the 2018 Los Angeles International Film Festival and would later win a sizeable collection of awards, is representative of Rui’s triple role as a co-writer, director, and producer.
