Living between Honolulu and Paris, Luc ANNEST was graduated from La Sorbonne St-Charles where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in filmmaking studies. 1st short cut, THREE NIGHTS, based on Philippe Djian’s novel starring Gerard Darmon and Clovis 1st short as producer, EASY LIFE shot in Hawaii, a short drama by the NBA player Boris Diaw
starring Cedric the Entertainer.

In 2017 1st NETFLIX comedy, as director and producer, NOLA CIRCUS, shot in English in New-Orleans, Louisiana. Independent financing by a pool of NBA and soccer athletes. Theatrical released both France and USA and worldwide digital released.

In 2018 Luc obtained the film rights to Philippe Djian’s highly-praised novel Zone Erogène known in the the U.S. as the author of the novel ELLE which was turned into a film by Paul Verhoven in 2016 starring Isabelle Huper (Best Picture Golden Globes 2017 and Cesar 2017).

Luc has been developing Zone Erogène into a feature film called L I L Y with the American producer Scott Einbinder (The Hitman’s Bodyguard starring Samuel L. Jackson and Ryan Reynolds).

In parallel, his career as author keeps going on with the writing of Thrillers THE CHAPEL & CACTUS FLAT, produced by the French producer Xavier Plèche. a biopic based on the life of the international French soccer player Lassana Diarra,produced by Camille Trumer (3 jours et une vie starring Sandrine Bonnaire & Charles Berling).
