Min Ding was born and raised in China. She received her M.F.A. in Film Directing from Columbia University’s School of the Arts in 2013. During her studies, Min was the recipient of the Columbia Women in-Film Fellowship and the Student Production Grant from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. She is the writer/director of the award-winning short film THREE LIGHT BULBS. It premiered at the Busan International Film Festival in 2013. Her film RATTLEFLY has premiered at Vancouver International Film Festival and won the Best Short Film at Cinequest Film Festival. It was a semifinalist for the Universal NBC short film festival. Min wrote and directed Fall In New York in 2014. It was showcased at China’s most popular entertainment network 56.com. She Associate Produced the feature film KEEP THE CHANGE, which was in the Sundance editing lab and won Best Narrative Feature at Tribeca International Film Festival, 2017. Her feature screenplay A Self Combing Woman was a semifinalist at the Cinequest Film Festival.
