Khurram H. Alavi is a director, screenwriter, story consultant, sculptor and art director. Hailing from the prestigious Indus Valley School of Art & Architecture in Pakistan, Alavi has over 15 years of diverse experience in the field, whose works include sculptures, character arts and motion pictures. Alavi made his directorial debut with BILAL: A NEW BREED OF HERO, an epic animated story about one of Arabian history's most revered personalities. BILAL: A NEW BREED OF HERO was nominated for “Most Inspiring Animation” at Cannes, ”Best Animated Feature" at Asia Pacific Screen Awards, and screened at numerous top film festivals include Dubai International Film Festival. His artworks have been exhibited at Palais de Tokyo in Paris. Currently, Khurram developing a couple of new feature ideas including MIRLO & THE MAGICAL OPUS, and on the TV side he is gearing up to take out his horror series with Starburns.
